To check the alertness of employees in an emergency situation at factory - a scenario of Ammonia leakage from a pipeline - an off site emergency mock drill was conducted on 4th December 2004.

The mock drill was conducted in association with the District Crisis Group(DCG) and was witnessed by the lead members of the DCG, Mr. Soumendu Mukherjee, Superintendent of Police, Dakshina Kannada, Mr. K G Krishnappa, Director of Factories and Boilers, Karnataka, Mr. A G Bhat, HQ. Asst. to Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada. The programme was followed by a critical evaluation of the drill proceedings.
