"Mangala" is a household name among the farming community in its operating territory from the past three decades & MCFL is deeply involved in various activities of the farming community.

As part of this commitment, A Bullock Cart Race was organized by MCFL at Unkal village,Hubli Taluk,Dharwar District in association with Sri Gurusiddeshwara Yuvak Mandal on 6th May 2005.

The Programme was inaugurated by Sri Gurusidda Rajyogendra Mahaswamiji of Moorasavir Math & the Award function was chaired by Sri Basavaraj Horatti, Minister of State for Science, Technology, Lottery & Small Savings.

A similar programme was also organized at Gudigere Village of Kudgol Taluk ,Dharwar District in association with Basaveshwara Bhajana Sangha on 12th May 2005.Sri M.S.Akki, MLA, Kundgol chaired the Award function.

Sri.Subramanya Bhat, Zonal Marketing Head, Hubli & Sri N S Vishwanath, Area Marketing Manager, Hubli were present during these programmes.

35 Bulluck carts participated in the competition. Bullock carts were painted with MCF publicity display. The Winners were given Mangala Urea & Mangala DAP bags as prizes. Hundreds of people witnessed these colorful events.

This programme is being organized by MCFL every year.
