The programme was envisaged to popularize crop specific blended granulated fertilizer grade NPK 16:12:16 among coffee growers. This special grade has gained popularity among coffee growers over the past few years.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Devaiah , Coffee planter, Virajpet in presence of Mr. M Ramesh, President - VSS Bank, Kutta Mr. Rangaswamy, Deputy Director Coffee Board, Mysore and other officials.

Mr. N S Vishwanath , Area Marketing Manger - MCF Hassan and Mr. K M Chandrashekhar, Marketing Executive - MCF Hassan spoke on importance of Blended Granulated Fertilizers , Micro Nutrients , Humic substances and specialty fertilizers being marketed by MCFL.

100 Coffee planters form surrounding estates attended the programme.
