Society Secretaries Training Programme - Palakkad
November 2005

A Society Secretary Training Programme was organized on 18.11.2005 at Palakkad, Kerala in collaboration with Kerala State Co-operative Marketing Federation Ltd & Kerala State Co-operative Rubber Marketing Federation Ltd.

Mr.P T Sudarshan, AMM-Calicut welcomed the gathering.The programme was inaugurated by Sri.K Surendranath, Principal Agriculture Officer & Mrs Saramma, Deputy Director of Agriculture (Training), Palakkad district.

Mr.Baby Josh, RUBBERMARK & Mr. Kunhambu Nair, MARKETFED, Palakkad were the special guests.

Addressing the gathering Mr. Sri.K Surendranath, Principal Agriculture Officer highlighted the role of secretaries in transfer of technical information to farmers. Mrs Saramma, Deputy Director of Agriculture (Training) spoke in detail about the Fertilizers Control Order.

Mr.M L Babu, ZMH - Coimbatore made a presentation on importance of Micro Nutrients & Products manufactured by MCF followed by a question & answer session.

Secretaries representing 80 societies from various parts of Palakkad district attended this training programme. MCF Officials from Coimbatore Zone & Corporate office, were also present during the programme.

Mr.Devdas, Field officer, RUBBERMARK, conveyed vote of thanks.
