As part of social corporate social responsibility, MCF has insured 164159 farmers under Mangala Rytha Suraksha Vima Yojane – MRSVY. The farmers are covered under this scheme for accidental disability & death. As part of this scheme, a cheque for Rs.25000.00 was handed over to the nominee Mr. N Umesh Nayak as compensation on accidental death of Mrs. Sumana Poroli Village, Puttur Taluk, D K Distict during a programmes conducted at Uppinangady C A Bank, Uppinangady on 22.06.2008
