Mangala Dealers Training Programme
March 2006

An In house training programme for Mangala dealers of Bangalore and Hassan areas was organized from 20th to 23rd March 2006 at "Mangala Raitha Bhavana", UAS,Hebbal campus in collaboration with University of Agriculture Sciences, Bangalore.

The objective of the training programme was to educate Mangala dealers in various aspects of agriculture like, improved cultivation practices, Plant Protection, Integrated Nutrient management & Quality control of Fertilizers.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Deepak Anand, Managing Director, MCF. Dr. M N Sheelavantar, Vice Chancellor, UAS presided over the function. Dr. G Eshwarappa, Director of Extension, UAS, Bangalore was the chief guest.

Addressing the Mangala dealers, Mr Deepak Anand highlighted MCF marketing philosophy, goal & concept in providing necessary inputs to the farmer in a timely manner with a range of unique products combined with scientific know-how to maximize crop yield. He also stressed on Integrated Crop Nutrition Management by way of promoting Crop specific and Soil specific fertilizer blends & speciality chemicals.

He advised the participants to make use of this opportunity in gaining knowledge by interacting with the experts.

Mr.K S Subbaiah, Head-Business Coordination, Mr.D M Renukaradhya, ZMH -Bangalore, Mr.G Gurunath, AMM-Bangalore, Mr.K M Thimmaiah, AMM-Hassan were also present on the occasion.
