MCF Integrated Farm Management (IFM)
June 2007

As a part of MCF Integrated Farm Management Project initiative, a series of programmes were organized during May and June 2007. A farmers training programme at Yanagunte, Hoskote taluk, Crop Seminars at Hassan and Bapi Reddy camp, Koppal district on potato and paddy were organized.

These programmes were organized with an objective to educate the farmers on Integrated Nutrient Management and cultivation aspects on Vegetables, Potato and Paddy crops, in addition the project farmers were also briefed about the Integrated Farm Management initiative of MCF.

About 500 project farmers attended these programmes.

Official from Department of Agriculture, Scientists from research stations, progressive farmers and MCF officials took part in these programmes.
