Mangala Integrated Farm Service

As a part of Mangala Integrated Farm Service, MCF organized two Farmers Training Programmes on 7th & 8th March 2006 at Suttur, Mysore district in collaboration with Krishi Vignana Kendra (KVK), Suttur.

The main aim of the programme was to encourage & train the farmers on Mangala Integrated Farm Service & cultivation aspects of Paddy.

On 7th March 2006 the programme was organized for farmers of Suttur & Kupparavally Villages. Mr. D M Renukaradhya, Zonal Marketing Head - Bangalore inaugurated the programme. Addressing the farmers he highlighted the purpose and importance of Mangala Integrated Farm Service. Mr. K M Thimmaiah, AMM - Hassan & Mr. S E Shiva Kumar, Manager (P&M) - Hassan were also present on the occasion.

Mr. Basavaraj Hulagur, Principal of KVK, Suttur spoke on the activities of KVK and requested the farmers to make best use of the project envisaged by MCF.

Mr.Ashok & Mr.Raianna, Subject Matter Specialists dealt in detail about the soil enrichment, conservation, cultivation aspects, and fertilizer requirement of Paddy crop.

On 8th March 2006, similar training programme was conducted for farmers from Alathur & S Hosakote villages.

Farmers were very appreciative of the training programmes organized by MCF. Nearly 60 farmers attended these training programmes.
