Mangala Dealers' Training on "Integrated Nutrient Management"
June 2006

As a continued effort and with the objective of educating Mangala dealers on Integrated Nutrient Management with special emphasis on the role of Micro Nutrients, Crop Specific & Soil Specific blended fertilizers in crop production, MCF in collaboration with Dept of Agriculture and University of Agriculture sciences organized six training programmes during June 2006:

The programmes were organized at:

• Bellary – 14th June 2006
• Gangavathy, Koppal District – 16th June 2006
• Raichur – 17th June 2006
• Hassan – 20th June 2006
• Mysore – 21st June 2006
• Gobichettipalem , Erode district , Tamil Nadu - 21st June 2006

Scientists from University, Research stations & Dept of agriculture were involved in these programmes to educate the dealers. The dealers were briefed about Mangala range of products & a documentary film on manufacturing process of Blended Granulated Fertilizers was also screened during these programmes.

About 700 Mangala dealers & progressive farmers were trained on integrated nutrient Management.
