INM - Training Programme at Nagamangala

A INM Training Programme was organized by Bangalore Area at Nagamangala , Mandya district on 13.02.2008. The programmes was envisaged to impart training to farmers and Mangala dealers on Integrated Nutrient Management.

Sri D. M. Renukaradhya, DGM M- Bangalore Zone welcomed the participants.
Inaugurating the programme Sri. H. M. Kshetrapal, Sr. Vice President - Marketing addressed the gathering highlighting the importance of plant nutrients in crop production as well as use of organic manure. Dr. Narse Gowda, Professor, Dept .of Horticulture, UAS - Bangalore made a presentation on important crops grown in Nagamangala area.

Dr. M .Srikantha, DGM- INM deliberated on important aspects of crop cultivation and Mangala Product Range. Sri. B .R .Girish, DDH - Mandya requested the farmers to avail the benefits of various schemes and facilities offered by the dept of Horticulture.Sri .H .S. Prakash, conveyed vote of thanks. 250 farmers & dealers attended this training programme.
