Dealer Training Program at Mysore

Fertilizer dealers are an important link between the fertilizer manufacturer and the farmer. It is essential to update their knowledge in respect of their duties & responsibilities under Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) periodically through training & discussions.

Dept of Agriculture, Central Fertilizer Quality & Training Institute in collaboration with Fertilizer manufacturers organizes such Training programs in selected districts every year.

On 23.09.2005, MCF in collaboration with the above agencies organized a "Dealers Training Program" at Karnataka Agricultural Marketing Institute, Mysore. Mr. K M Thimmaiah, AMM-MCF welcomed the gathering.

The program was inaugurated by Mr. Ramakrishnegowda, ADA (Hq) who presided over the function.Mr.Gokul Nand Deo, Deputy Director, RFCL, Chennai, Mr.D M Renukaradhya, ZMH-MCF, Mr.V C Prakash, Head-Business Development - MCF, Ms. Suma, ADA - Mysore were the guests.

Mr. D M Renukaradhya, ZMH-MCF made the inaugural address, Mr. Gokul Nand Deo, Deputy Director, RFCL, Chennai, spoke in detail on Fertilizer Control Order. Mr. Ramakrishnegowda ADA (Hq) gave the presidential address followed by interaction with dealers.

Mr.Jagadish, SPIC conveyed vote of thanks. Dealers from various parts of Mysore district, officials from Dept of Agriculture & fertilizer manufacturers attended the program.
