Crop Seminars
October 2007

Four Crop Seminars were organized by MCF at Shimoga , Gokak, Jamkhandi and Coimbatore on Areca, Banana, Grapes and Coco crops during September - October 2007.

The purpose of organizing these seminars was to educate the growers on various aspects of cultivation with a main focus on Integrated Nutrient Management. Officials and Scientists from University of Agricultural Sciences, research stations, department of Agriculture and Horticulture were invited to address the farmers.

In addition to the technical sessions, Officials from MCF made presentations on importance of soil health, use Micronutrients and MCF product range with a focus on Specialty fertilizers.

MCF traded products were on display at all the places during the seminars.

900 farmers and local Mangala dealers attended these seminars.
